Fire Circles

This year the fires are themed to reflect the overall intentional arc of the gathering, but they also reflect the traditional dialogue from our Pathway ritual.

Wednesday: Pathways

Tonight we open the pathways of the SpiritFire fire circle with our traditional ceremonial agreements between music, motion, voice, seva, and the mysteries. This will begin with candlelight processions leading to the fire circle, and will feature our traditional dialogues of agreement between the pathways and all of us. If you have blue (motion), green (seva), red (music), or yellow (voice) ritual garb, or a mixture of these, we invite you to wear it tonight to symbolize your connection with the pathways (as always, this is optional - wear what you like!).  At 9:30pm, you will have the opportunity to choose which of the four pathways you will meet and process with: Music, Motion, Voice, or Seva.  The groups will meet at 9:30pm to discuss the SpiritFire circle and as a collective will create the dialogues for the fire lighting ritual, processing to the fire at the starting time.  Come prepared to be engaged!

Thursday:  Honoring

It is our tradition to assure time and space for the honoring of the many pathways we represent as a community, and as individuals.  More specific information will be posted soon.

Friday: Requesting

This fire lighting will not ask us to make requests for ourselves, but instead to listen to the voices of our younger generation and their own requests of us as their friends, family, and support as they make their journey through the night, and through life.  More information coming soon....

Saturday: Offering

We have engaged in dialogue through Music, Motion, Voice and Seva. We have acknowledged and honored our diverse paths and practices, ancestors and spirits.  We have listened to the voices of the younger generation.  Tonight - consider what it is you have to offer the world; what gifts you bring that are inspired and fed at the fire.  What hopes and dreams you wish to manifest for the betterment of your communities, environment, families, and the world.
